Top U17 Prospects at Generation adidas Cup

The 2023 edition of the Generation adidas Cup kicks off on Saturday.

Comprised of MLS, international squads and a couple of MLS NEXT teams, this year’s Under-17 competition should prove to be a tough challenge over the coming week.

Some of the top clubs in world soccer will compete in the U17 age group, including Manchester United, Flamengo and Atlas FC – to name just a few.

The annual tournament is a big chance for some of the top prospects in MLS academies to be tested against players from around the globe. Check out the groups below and some of the top U17 prospects to know.

U17 Groups

Group 1: FC Dallas, Miami Rush Kendall, Chicago Fire FC, Seattle Sounders FC

Group 2: Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Manchester United FC, Columbus Crew, D.C. United

Group 3: San Jose Earthquakes, Flamengo, Real Salt Lake, CF Montreal

Group 4: Colorado Rapids, Palmeiras, LA Galaxy, FC Cincinnati

Group 5: Minnesota United, Houston Dynamo FC, IMG Academy, Philadelphia Union

Group 6: Toronto FC, Atlas FC, Charlotte FC, Sporting KC

Group 7: Atlanta United, New York City FC, Austin FC, Pumas UNAM

Group 8: St. Louis City SC, Remo Stars FC, Portland Timbers, Strikers FC
