Jun 13, 2024The world’s largest model aircraft exhibition will land at Shannon Airport next week.
The display which opens on Tuesday will showcase almost 900 intricate diecast airplanes models at the scale of 1/200th of their life size equivalents.
The exhibit will put the spotlight on the life long passion of Limerick man Michael Kelly who has been collecting and sculpting the pieces since the 1950s.
The event takes place on Tuesday at 11.00a.m. in the Arrivals Hall of the airport’s terminal building.
